Please note that empowHER India may use any directed donation for other purposes if the Board of Trustees find that all funding needs for the particular program have already been committed, or if the program is discontinued because its goals have been met.

Yes, we issue receipts for all donations. The tax receipt can be sent to you by post or through email. Please note that tax receipts are mailed out once the funds are credited to our account. Kindly provide us with your name, mailing address, email address and phone through email or by calling our office.

Donations to empowHER India are entitled to income tax benefit under Section 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act, 1961. We are also registered under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act 1976, enabling donations from outside India and from NRIs.

We can provide a duplicate copy of the donation receipt and 80 G on request

All our donors receive a detailed report post project completion. You can also get in touch with us if you would like to visit the villages where the project is implemented.

Yes, our books of account are audited every year. We have appointed M/S M.L. Sharma & Co., as our Auditors. Annual Audited Balance sheets are submitted to the Charity Commissioner & Income Tax authorities, as per the statutory requirement. You can also view our annual reports here.

Yes, you are welcome to visit the project sites and interact with the beneficiaries post project completion. empowHER will also submit a detailed impact report to the funding organization.

In the past, we have added donor tiles and name plaques for our CSR donors on the toilets that have been constructed and in the school building. We are open to further discussion on branding if required.

We began our journey 30 years ago with a vision to transform rural Panvel. Our ethos has always been built on trust, credibility, and transparency. We believe that ‘empowHER’ reflects the strong grassroots level that we have undertaken over the years, symbolizes who we are today and represents our goals for the future. Our name may have changed but in true essence, our vision remains the same.
